Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Website teamspeak3-servers.eu processes personal data of its Users when browsing the site, adding TeamSpeak 3 servers, posting comments and purchasing TIP status.

1. Personal data we process

  • Data when adding a Server – e‑mail address, IP address of the device, technical information about the Server (IP/hostname, port, name, description), which may in some cases indirectly identify a person.
  • Data in comments – name or nickname, e‑mail address, IP address of the device, comment content and timestamp.
  • Technical and operational data – IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP headers, browser and device information, cookies and similar identifiers, logs and security records (e.g. Cloudflare protection).
  • TIP status and payment data – identification of the Server for which TIP status is purchased, information about payments received from the payment service provider (amount, timestamp, transaction ID).
  • Data from cookies and third‑party scripts – data from Google tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads/AdSense), Facebook (Meta) and Cloudflare for traffic measurement, marketing and security.

2. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Operation and management of the Website and services – displaying the server list, enabling Users to add, edit and delete Servers, managing comments, basic security (logs, abuse detection, bot protection – Cloudflare); legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest of the Operator.
  • Communication with Users – responding to requests and inquiries, sending important service messages; legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest.
  • Accounting and legal obligations – recording payments for TIP status and retaining data required by tax and accounting laws; legal basis: compliance with legal obligations.
  • Analytics and service improvement – measuring traffic, monitoring Website performance and diagnostics (e.g. Google Analytics); legal basis: legitimate interest in improving services, or consent where required.
  • Marketing and advertising – displaying personalised and non‑personalised ads (Google AdSense) and measuring the performance of campaigns (Google, Facebook/Meta); legal basis: consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies, and where applicable legitimate interest to the extent allowed by law.

3. Retention periods

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or for the period required by law.

  • Server and comment data – as long as the Server/comment is published on the Website or until deleted at the User’s request.
  • IP addresses and logs – typically for several months to a few years for security and diagnostic purposes, depending on technical settings and legal requirements.
  • Payment data – for the period required by tax and accounting regulations (usually 5–10 years).
  • Cookies – according to their type, from the end of the session up to several months or years, as determined by the respective providers (Google, Meta, Cloudflare).

Once the retention period expires, personal data are securely deleted or anonymised.

4. Recipients of personal data

We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers,
  • analytics and advertising providers (e.g. Google, Meta/Facebook, Google AdSense),
  • security service providers (e.g. Cloudflare),
  • payment service providers (for processing TIP status payments),
  • accountants, tax advisors and legal representatives,
  • public authorities where required by law or binding decisions.

Where required by GDPR, we conclude appropriate data processing agreements with such recipients.

5. Transfers to third countries

Some recipients (e.g. Google, Meta/Facebook, Cloudflare) may process personal data on servers located outside the EU/EEA, particularly in the United States. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards under GDPR are in place (such as standard contractual clauses or other legal transfer mechanisms).

6. Your GDPR rights

As a data subject under GDPR, you have in particular the following rights:

  • right of access to your personal data,
  • right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular to reflect changes in our processing activities, legal requirements or technical solutions.
